MyLeah R. Wiedmann

MyLeah Wiedmann is an Associate Attorney at Lutter, Gilbert & Kvas, where she practices law focusing on Family Law, Estate Planning and Probate. MyLeah first began her legal career in 2011 when she worked as a legal assistant at a family law firm. Working her way up to litigation paralegal at various law firms, MyLeah eventually took her legal career to the next level and enrolled in William Mitchell College of Law (now Mitchell Hamline School of Law) in Saint Paul. While in law school, MyLeah worked as a court clerk for Wright and Ramsey Counties, held an externship at the ACLU, and interned at the Department of Homeland Security – Office of Chief Counsel as a student attorney.
Since beginning her legal career in 2011, MyLeah has graduated law school, passed the Minnesota bar exam, and is fully licensed to practice law in Minnesota. She understands that each client has different needs, and she appreciates every opportunity to address client’s questions and concerns so that they are well informed, comfortable, and ready to choose the best path forward. She prides herself on being approachable, responsive, and compassionate, and she strives to always be a resource to clients.
Prior to joining Lutter, Gilbert & Kvas, MyLeah worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Robert A. Awsumb in Ramsey County District Court. While working for the court MyLeah saw a variety of cases with different substantive law and procedural issues, gained intense research and writing experience, and observed lawyers and judges of varying backgrounds. She sees her clerkship as an invaluable experience that improved her general knowledge of law and made her a more efficient and effective lawyer.
MyLeah has always been passionate about helping people, especially children. Prior to launching her legal career, MyLeah graduated from the University of Minnesota, with a major in Youth Studies.
